Well, since MJ's surgery, Kaiden now loves to go into her room with his pillow and blanket and try to convince me to let him sleep in there....it hasn't worked yet.
MJ got fixed and when she came home I told Kaiden that she had a ouchie on her belly. I put her in her cage and he insisted on laying down with her. He covered himself up with her blankie and then wouldn't get out. I had to walk her out, persuade him out and then put her back in.
I snapped this picture of Kaiden looking out the window of his room at my parents house. I was standing next to him and thought it looked cool through the mirror that was propped up on the wall.
Kaiden is wearing the vest that his Uncle Jack used to wear when he was Kaiden's age and my dad brought that vest and his matching one all the way to New Orleans so they could dress up alike. My dad also brought Kaiden's house shoes that he bought that look similar to his (minus the spider-man logo).
Kaiden flew for the first time when he was about 6 months old and slept the whole time so I consider this flight to be his first. We got to the airport pretty early so we sat and watched the planes taxi around. He did awesome on both flights and we both had a lot of fun.
MJ is now getting big enough and strong enough that Kaiden can sit on her back. He hasn't learned how to hold on yet so when she stands up, he gets bucked off.
Typically Kaiden wakes up around 7:30 but on this Saturday morning about 8:45 I still hadn't heard him wake up so I went into his room to find this.......and he even sat his Prince Jack up to read with him. (FYI...the pink pillow is mine for when I read him books)
