May 12 - Playdate

We went over to one of myvery good friends house on Saturday and Kaiden and her youngest son really enjoyed playing together.

May 5 - New Boots

My mom bought Kaiden a rain coat and some rain boots a while back and he likes wearing the boots around the house. "Ok, they're on....now I gotta get up" "Almost there..............."

Apr. 29 - Pool Party!

Kaiden took his shark for a ride around the backyard in his big Tonka truck..... .....and then it was his turn!

Kaiden found it fascinating that Uncle Jack was giving Aunt Tonya's shoes a bath and ended up getting sprayed...he loved it!

Apr. 29 - Slumber Party!

Saturday night, we camped out over at Uncle Jack and Aunt Tonya's house. Kaiden likes packing up his toys and all his bed stuff and spending the night over there. It's nice to have a change of scenary every once in a while. Pretty soon, we won't be able to do this because we'll all be in the same house. Aunt Tonya gave him a special book to write while he's over and he loves it.

Apr. 28 - Chillin at Home...

We took it easy this weekend and Saturday morning we hung out around the house and watched cartoons.

Apr. 26 - New Racecar Towel

For Easter, Kaiden's grandparents got him a new racecar towel. Last night for bathtime, that's the only thing that convinced him to get out of the bathtub.

Apr. 21 - MJ Turns One!!!

MJ turned one on Friday and her Uncle Jack and Aunt Tonya bought her a new toy. She had so much fun holding onto the strap part with her mouth and then flinging it across the living room.

Apr. 20 - Independence Dinner

It's been a year now that we've been on our own. For me, this dinner was to celebrate my independence however, as fas as Kaiden knows, we were celebrating MJ's birthday. She turned one today. He even told the waitress, "I eating for NJ's party"(NJ is how he says her name).

Apr. 15 - Backyard Bar-B-Que

We went over to one of my friends house for a Bar-B-Que and Kaiden had so much fun running around in the backyard with the puppies.

He also got to throw the baseball back and forth and he told everyone he was playing a baseball game.

Apr. 14 - Day at the Racetrack

On Saturday, we went to Houston Motorsports Parks for the Hot Rod show. The temperature that day was in the 50's and it was freezing. We stayed out there for almost two hours and had a blast... Vrooomm Vrooomm.....

Apr. 11 - Medical Update

Kaiden had a doctor's appt. in Galveston Wednesday morning to get a second opinion on his kidney reflux. The appt. went better than expected. This doctor gave me a lot of new information that I wasn't aware of and, the most important part, he made Kaiden feel comfortable.....actually I think the sticker and the sucker had a lot to do with it but Kaiden liked him too. At this point, Kaiden is doing good and will stay on his antibiotics for at least the next few months and in October they will, for the third time, re-do his tests and based on the results, we'll make a decision on what to do next. We got down to Galveston about 45 min before we had to check in so we went and walked down the seawall and the beach.

Apr. 9 - Playing at the Playground

To run out some of Kaiden's endless energy, we're starting to walk back and forth to the playground. Today was our first day and after walking there, which is about a 3 min. walk, and playing for about 10 mins, Kaiden was super tired. Then we walked all the way back and stopped and got the mail. For the first time in about a month, he went right to sleep.

He's now big enough to climb up and down by himself.....
